too bad he can't show his work at a gallery under an alias or something, it would be ironic if after he had a successful show that his brother (or his brother's wife) would purchase one of his paintings. *smirk*. . . i hope that after all of the angst that you will end this happily. please warn me if you aren't because i won't be able to read it. ask my friends and family, i can't take the bad stuff, it effects me for days and days, depression, nightmares etc. thank you, ginny

I have a huge grin on my face from this chapter. I loved it, and it was nice from the crying I usually do to this story. I adore it when Inuyasha is happy. And the flashbacks to Inuyasha's mom was perfect. It gives Inuyasha's character more depth. So I hope you continue writing the longer chapters, it makes it worth it, when you update. :) Keep up the excellent work!

YAY! You updated! Me happy! Oh it's heartbreaking yet so lovely at the same time! Inuyasha being an artisst is so adorable! And being a good one at that! It's like Edgar Allen Poe and Picaso. Both amazing artists yet they lived such terrible lives. I like how you're making him get closer to her and I can't wait to see Kagome's photo's and Inuyasha's paintings!

Ahhh...that...that was so sad...TT____TT That was very, very well done! That does seem like the type of insults Sesshomaru would use...the kind that's long and matter-of-fact...and the type that uses big words and phrases so that when you have to ask what the insult even means, you feel like even more of an idiot...=////=;; On a lighter note, now, every time I see a 'Sherwin William's Paintcover the earth...' sign, I automatically start thinking of Inuyasha...XDD;;

OH yeah! I forgot to mention that I'm waaaaaay happier that you brought in Sango and Miroku. At least their friendship will keep Inuyasha from killing himself. I am okay if you can't fit Shippou in, but if you needed a way to fit him in, you could always make him Souta's frient. :)

*Rages at the unfairness!!!!!* Evil evil sesshomaru and the father. How could you not accept your own kin? No matter what they look like or are mixed with. How DARE they treat Inuyasha like that. Those BASTARDS!!! heh you make me want to wrap Inu up in my arms and shelter him from all those unfairnesses. Poor baby. Can I take a really big knife and chop them into little pieces? Literacy speaking of course. Grrrrrr! I hope you get the chance to update, because I want Inu to be happy. I'm so enraged at Sesshomaru's declaration of the engagement, and not inviting Inuyasha. But If they leave Inuyasha and go to the wedding, I hope they never ever come back. Seriously, kill them off. That would be two character deaths I could handle. *grins* Well obviously you can see how riled up I am over this chapter, so keep up the good work. I'm off to go read something a little bit more happier to mellow me out. Ciao.

if the father didn't want to suffer the consequences of his actions he should have kept it in his pants. . . i can just see kagome's mother finding him beaten and bloody and confronting his bastard of a father and demanding custody of the boy saying her family would take him in (something that just came to me). . . i don't think that i have ever read a story that yash's dad was anything but a good guy. that makes this story unique in my opinion. ~ thank you, ginny >.> p.s. you have gotten me all worked up... the master artist strives to elicit strong emotion from those who view his or her work and in this you have succeeded from the very first chapter. BRAVO!

Honestly...I think this is one of the best, if not the best Inuyasha fanfic I have ever read...OwO The pacing is perfect! For one thing, you don't have people falling in love with someone or becoming best friends after knowing each other for only 10 minutes!(it aggravates the HELL outta me when people do that! XDD;; ) The character developement is actually ON-GOING...XDD You also don't use up a whole paragraph describing what the characters are wearing, you come up with your own ideas to make the story interesting, and you're able to mix humor in naturally with the angst! And instead of using a big, long list of words to describe something, you use one or two really effective adjectives! The people are all perfectly in character considering all the circumstances (Inuyasha obviously wouldn't be quite so outwardly rude and...well...OVERLY CONFIDENT if he didn't have an entire forest to hide away in, had to go to school with people who hated/were terrified of him, and had an abusive drunkard for a father...@-@ )... Probably the only person who ISN'T in character is Inu no Taisho...but about 90% of that is because no one even really knows what he's like and the other 10% is because its an important part of the story! (And I love Naraku being the English teacher, by the way! XDD Pssht, figures he'd assign them Brave New World, seems like the kinda book he'd love...more so than is healthy...XDD;; ) And the way you space everything out is REALLY nice! It makes everything easier to read, I'm not being overwhelmed with a million things all at once (quite like you probably are being overwhelmed by this review, wondering when I'll shut up...sorry...XDDD)...everything just...like...FLOWS...y'know? 8DD And I like the change in perspective while still staying mostly omni-present. 83 Ehhhmm...I honestly don't know what else to say...I'll probably think of a buncha other stuff later, but I'll save that for another review...O-O;; Oh yeah! And I really appreciate how often you update and how nice and long (and different) each chapter is! PLEASE keep on writing, I really enjoy it! Inuyasha was my first real anime and I'm always excited when I find a really good fanfic for it! Eheh...sorry this is so long! XDD This doesn't count as me "review-whoring", does it? XDD;; Anyways, thanks so much! I look forward to the next update! O 3O

I AM NOW YOUR NEWEST AND BIGGEST FAN! Trust me, I don't review if I don't like the story and now I am addicted! This is so sweet! The way he's so hesitant and shy, I love how you made his wounded character! I really want to know how things progress in his stages of healing! I can't help it! I wanted so badly to sleep the night I found this fic yet I couldn't take my eyes away from it! It made me teary! Now that's saying something! If an author can made thier reader really FEEL somthing, then that's a REAL complement! I look forward to seeing more! ^_^
