I liked how this all played out. From his talk with his future benefactor, Kagome, the box with the ring, his old man *yuck*, to his talking to his mothers grave in the beginning, in which I particularly liked alot. Then to Inu giving Kagome the ring and there after. Very poignant, I think. Heh, makes me wonder tho who it is waiting on him. Great update! Till next install, update when ya can! ;)

I know what you mean about finals. My spring semester in college last year had KILLER finals. It was just a relief to go to the bathroom. Anyway, I'm glad things are finally looking up for Inuyasha. I was surprised that Oichi was so kind to him, but I'm glad nonetheless. I was also touched about that scene when he went to visit his mother. I think I blushed when I read that part about Kagome giving Inuyasha boxers. OMG! "I LOVE YOU!" HOLY SHIT! (Excuse my language, but I can't help it!) THAT REALLY SURPRISED ME! I wasn't expecting it! But it was SO sweet nonethless. The ending makes me want to cry though. I'm hoping agaisnt hope that it isn't what I think it is!

I can't be articulate at the moment, I'm too busy squeeing and grinning. But I'm worried, though, because it seems like Inuyasha's father just found out! I've missed your updates, but finals are gross. Congratulations on your grades and happy new year!

This story is fresh, interesting, and thoroughly addicting. I can not wait for you to update soon, as I am waiting with baited breath to see what lies in store for our favorite hanyou.

I must tell you how much I love it and adore it and quite franky am having difficulty living without it. I love the way you have written Inuyasha. He is smart, shy, humble and just so damb adorable. I am glad he fought his father back and is now going to go off to college. My question is, where does this leave his relationship with Kagome? I know you had said in earlier chapters that writing the kissing scene was difficult, and that I totally get...you are right, they are difficult. But I must complement you because it was so sweet. I loved the photo shoot as well as how they got caught by little Souta. Lil brothers can be big bugers. Tee hee. Will he take Kagome's mom's suggestion and move in with them? Will things finally really heat up? Damn, I remember being that age....ehehmmm it twas a loooooong time ago....lol!! Anywayz. I'm gratefull for your storytelling, and if you are in college I know that most schools just had finals sooooooo.....I understand that you have been busy. But if you do get a moments time, could you please get us another chapter out to us?? Gahhh, dont make me beg.....we could be here for a really long time. Just think about this.....Have you ever watched SpongeBob SquarePants when he goes and visits his friend Patty in her fish bowl, he has no air and his life is being sucked out of him from lack of water.....thats me without your story...the life just gets sucked out of me....Lol! (Gahhh, can you tell I have children??Too many cartoons!!) You take care, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to you and your family! P. S. I have passed the link to your story to other friends of fan fics here in fandom. So get to tapping that keyboard!!!

Reviewed By: cougiecat1 On: December 05, 2007 23:42 CST Comment/Review: The emotions and sensations you describe in this story are almost as palpable as the vivid descriptions you give- complete with usual colors and all. I've been trying to figure out the society.. it sounds almost like black and white America 100 years ago.. except without the class differential. It seems strange that the two societies would be so integrated and yet separate, but I can see it working. Anyway- love the story. Looking forward to the next update. yada yada. Glad you updated to this chapter. It woulda really sucked to have you stop a chapter earlier :)

Reviewed By: wbk [MediaMiner Member] On: December 04, 2007 23:52 CST Comment/Review: congratulations on your awards. this story deserved them. i loved the way you took us through so many emotions in this chapter. from the continuing anguish over being unfairly treated, to the physical abuse from his father, to the pride in standing up for himself, to the anger at confronting the person who dashed his dreams, and finally to the joy of finding another route to his desired future. i can't wait to see how the future unfolds, now. will inuyasha finally be free of the home life he's had? will he and kagome have a chance at a happy life? will his antagonist cause more grief in his life? thank you for another great chapter and the enjoyment it brought.

I think it's cool that Inuaysha finally gets to go to college.. and I also thought that when Souta walked in on Inuyasha and Kagome, it was pretty funny.

Reviewed By: Midoriko-sama [MediaMiner Member] On: December 03, 2007 14:09 CST Comment/Review: *twitch* media cancer... Well, that's a good spin. I was hoping more for the frontal full-on bang-his-face-against the door, with a nice law suite that is won... but ... your society is realistic. No matter how much we want to (and probably YOU want to, also) to have Inuyasha get back at everyone publicly, I can see how the society would view a law suite presented by a hanyou. I can only think of Blackadder goes fourth, where the defense was fined just for showing up, only without the humour. Instead you're working on the system from within. It's still not quite what I'd call poetic justice, but it seems to be getting there, somehow, through the winding road instead of the straight one. I only have one question left; how much longer until Inuyasha's 18th birthday? Because unless he emancipates himself...
