sesshy, sesshy, sesshy...that is the most stubborn dog i have ever met. he claims that no harm will come to the neko because she's part of the joint pack with inuyahsa, but he's willing to let kirara. whom he knows will not back down, drown to prove what point. that he is an ass? kirara won't need a point she'll be dead and inuyasha will be trying to kill him. can't he see any of the unwavering faith that little rin has in him and see it's a strength to join together and a weakness to be alone. much as he'd like to think it, he's not all powerful. brillant chapter, you really have a way with words. until next time (please don't drown the kitty...)

I can't believe that the damn bird actually dropped the kids. What is he thinking!?!? yeah, yeah, I know that he has had some agenda for everything that he has done, but poor Rin must have just messed her kimono. I know he didn't really splat them, but come on! Kirara is turning into a more and more interesting character. I am glad that you have taken the time to flesh her out more. Most of the time in the manga and anime she is merely a cute kitty or a supernatural beast of burden. I wonder what you would do with AhUn? The battle between Sess and Inu must have been a thing of beauty. I actually read it twice through before I started typing again so I could get a good mental picture. The reasoning behind it was even better. In another fanfiction that I really like (hello again by delkaiden) the author has Sess talking to a once again emprisoned Inu. He comments that he had resented Inuyasha because those around him followed him out of respect, not fear. He says that Inuyasha was born with that spark that it took Sess centuries to understand and longer to gain. You have aluded to the same thing in this story but worded it differently and in such a way that it almost leaves the reader to realize what Sess is missing without stating it specifically. Inu-papa knew it and tried to tell Sess the night he died protecting Izayoi. Fabulous, fabulous chapter! And then Kirara starts up her plan with a cat bath. I am glad I didn't have anything to drink when I read this last section. Sesshoumaru getting a catbath from a cat with a 4-inch-wide, 40-grit-industrial-sandpaper tongue just cracks me up entirely. It also gives a whole new meaning to the tern dermabrasion! I can't wait to see how this goes! Thanks for writing for us. Caitriona

I am glad that the pups were finally born. When you first mentioned them at the beginning of the chapter (mucus etc) I was concerned that one of them wouldn't make it at all. Go Kagome! I see the white runt becoming her favorite in spite of runts and albinos being the ultimate Omegas of most packs. Yourei Taisei's tactics have been interesting throughout this entire story. I look forward to his sections. While he irritates some deep antiestablishmentarian part of my soul, I would love to just pick his brain. Lots of deep stuff that sometimes takes a long time to get out, but when it does.....damn...really deep. There is another chapter to read now, so while I may have other things I would normally write about that other chapter is calling to me and making the thoughts blank out. Thanks for writing! brilliant! i thought the bird man was an ass. he's looking at things from one perspective, that the best way to teach stubborn students is by using force. he seeks to show them weakness where they have (or at least inuyasha) already discovered skill. sesshy needs to learn that as inu no taisho he has more to protect more strength to draw on than even inuyasha with a mate and pack. i cannot wait to see what the lovely kirara has up her sleeves!

As my cat Boo gave me a thorough grooming this morning as punishment for abandoning him for two nights, I know first hand how much Sesshoumaru will enjoy his bath. On the one hand, he's a demon, on the other hand so is Kirara.

You like cliffies too, huh? I hate those Gid dam things!!! That sensai is really gettin to me. I hate his style of 'teaching',and that mouth thing kags did wuz nasty!! Oh,yea and the thing with seshomaru puttin the towel to kags mouth wuz kinna....weird, I neva expected him to do that. The fight is gonna come with sessy n yashie!! I can't loose both my Inu's!! Well I'm really glad you aren't dead. I would have been very sad if you were dead. I graduated High School last night YAY!!!!! Something I'd be surprised if Kagome managed to pull off. I am no longer in school, well till august when I start college anyway, and now I need a job to pay for my car. *sigh* it's so cool and kinda lame all at the same time. Anyway I think it would be really cool if Sess and Inu teamed up and took Yourei Taisei out. THAT would be absolutely amazing!!! Not to mention I have this whole picture of in my head, if Inu was fully trained in the katana then he and Sess as a team would be invincible. ^.^ But I also just want to watch Inu kick Sess's ass but something tells me that Inu might fake out because Shippou could survive a fall like that but Rin wouldn't. *sigh* this is getting very complicated and yes YT is being an ASS!!!!!! Is he just mad because they keep blowing him off for their pack stuff? *sigh* I don't know update soon ok ja!!!!
