Good chapter. I hate that Claire got captured, though, and by the sadistic Fenrir, no less. this is REALLY bad. I hope that the others can get to her in time. As for the "confrontation" between Inuyasha and Kagome, I didn't get my explosion! *pouts* LOL. Oh, well. I guess it just has to wait. They have much more important things to worry about right now anyway. Rescuing Claire has to come first. I look forward to reading the next one!

Okay, I'm usually a reader and not much a reviewer, but I gotta say something. I know about the Armenian Genocide. I was introduced to it in 6th grade from my homeroom teacher, who's Armenian. I also now live in a community with a very large and old Armenian population in the Central Valley of California. If you want to see a good example of how to treate the issue of Genocide, watch Nicolas Cage's film "Lord of War." Its about the rise of a a gun runner for 3rd world countries and how it affected his entire "world." His character study was very well protrayed, I thought, and it really reminded me of your character developement, especially in this story. So, for your review: I liked your premise. I like how you have a good eye as a writer to be able to bring into background discussion topics that will leave a reader asking "There was an Armenian Genocide?!?" I also like how you've portrayed the inu-ichi clan to suit this story and not make it seem like a cookie cutter cutout. That can really be hard to do. Now if you want a comparison as a fanfic writer, have you read any of Sueric's stories on MediaMiner? I swear she's an undercover professional authorise whose made fanfic writing as a way to exercise her writing brian. Yet, think, if you wanted to test out a story thread to a wide based audience, why not write as a fanfic writer? Not to say that I don't think some of her work can't be tiring after reading them in a row. That's just overkill. Its like eating a gallon of ice cream in one sitting. Its just too much, even though after 30 mins, you want more. ;) So, I guess after everyone reads this post and wonders what the hell I'm writing about, its like this; I am responding to the writer's need to know that someone other than one person, read and thought that using the Armenian Genocide as a background for character developement was a neat and well thought out idea. There said it. Happy now? Cause I can assure you that there are other lurkers out there that will be happy to say roughly the same thing. Maeve

Hey don't feel bad that only one person mentioned the armenian genocide in a review, I'm sure lots of people who read your last chapter became more worldly aware. They were just focusing on the fact that we had some real inu/kag romance at last. Which by the way I was very disappointed that there was nothing about them in this chapter after the ending to the last one. *sigh* oh well, just could we please have some in the next chapter. I did however enjoy seeing more of Claire, I love her!!!! ^.^

Good chapter. I'm sorry, too, that I didn't really comment on the Armenian genocide last chapter. Honestly, that was the first time I'd heard of it, I'm ashamed to say. It was AWFUL.....ALL genocide is awful. No group should ever be targeted and hunted just for being different from someone else. But, unfortunately, it STILL happens (Rwanda, Darfur, Bosnia....the list goes on.) As for this chapter, it was cute. Family is family, powerful nightwalkers or not, lol. Claire's (and Bill's) origin was interesting, as all of their back story's have been. But....Inuyasha has his work cut out for him next time. I can't wait too see Kagome's reaction when he tells her that she has to essentially give up her own life to go with him. It's going to be intense....but probably a bit funny too. As powerful as Inuyasha is, there is still a part of him that is actually afraid.....of little bitty Kagome, lol. Of course, little bitty Kagome has a heck of a temper, too, so maybe we should cut him some slack, lol. I look forward to reading the next one!

"What brain?" Kagome chuckled. Claire bit her tongue. "Good one. Don't let him hear that." Great line! Thanks *Blush*! Your stories an mutilayered and they have such great detail placed in them. Having a author with a brain and being original and actualy knowing stuff, really makes a story great! I think the American history fits in well as it show that they are connected to the past and they have a history themselves. I hope Kagome makes a fuss, I hope she get to travel with them... (and if she did become a drone what would happen to the story line? (because I don't think that zombie Kagome would be very interesting...)(wonders if she can even become one...)Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your message about the Armenian Genocide, I've been so busy with school I haven't had a chance to review. I know all about the Armenian Genocide, the first Genocide of the Twentieth Century. Hitler once said, "Who remembers the Armenians?" And I say that I remember and all the good people in the world remember the Armenians and all victims of genocide and we will do everything in our power to not let it happen again.
