Buaaaaah!!!! Im so excited!! Finally! Evan figured it out! Yay!! Ooooh whats he gonna do nooooooow!?! *jumps up and down* On a calmer note, I had a funny moment while I was reading this during that first part where they were eating dinner and V was throwing fruit at him. When it said he was pushing his potato salad around, my brain farted and I imagined a green leafy salad with potato slices in it and I was like "Potato salad?" Rofl xD. But man! I cant wait to see whatll happen now! Hes gotta write the rest of that song right!? Right!? XDD

Interesting dilemma: After chapter 78 was published last night, I decided to go back and re-read Subterfuge instead of doing schoolwork or... much of anything else. So I'm reading Chapter 35 when--completely out of impulse--I decide to check my e-mail. The new message makes me wanna leap three feet in the air, but then I stop and think: what should I do? Do I continue reading and wait to get to Chapter 79 the all natural way (or at least wait until tomorrow, when I can read it fresh) or do I just stop right in the middle of "The Fourth Day: Part II" and read "Breaking Down"? Like I said, an interesting dilemma. As it turns out, it's a good thing I decided to start reading this again last night, or I would completely missed the significance of the song Evan was humming.... it's been so long that I completely forgot about it. So I must confess that I've been somewhat of a terrible reader since, oh, about the end of Justification, if I remember correctly. I've been lazy and haven't posted any reviews since about that time, and I apologize for that. I never stopped reading the updates--I was just lazy. And then, once I'd not posted any comments for so long, I kinda avoided getting back into the groove, so to speak. In fact, I have recently been re-reading some of your fanfiction in my "spare time" (read: ignoring schoolwork). I read Chronicals and Forever two or three months ago, then Metamorphosis, followed by Justification, Phantasms and Shameless over the last couple weeks, all in order. (I'm slacking on Purity, Defiance and The Fairy Tale because I feel as though I've read the former dozens of times and the latter within the last year). I guess Avouchment is next? I dunno about Vendetta... it's so good, but so sad.... But I suppose you didn't really need to know all that. In any case, I can't believe how long Subterfuge is already, and it seems there's still so much to cover! (Not that I don't love all of the little cute character development chapters--I do) Like I said earlier, this chapter would've blindsided me had I not serendipitously decided to begin rereading it yesterday, but it was such a huge payoff. I was also very relieved to see this pop up so fast after that wonderful cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 78 last night. I know there's only three (possibly only two?) more fanfics left in this series, and it's almost terrifying to think about the day when I can't look forward to a new chapter of Purity... there's always the one-shots, I suppose. (And those wonderful PDF files.) I'm starting to think that it'll have more of an impact than when InuYasha ended last year... as much as I love the source material, overall I don't think it holds as big a place in my heart as Purity. Your characters are just too irresistible! Thank you for the fantastic stories! From what I've read on your blog, I'm glad that everything is moderately okay now and Shameless is back on a regular update schedule! (It's been like Christmas spread over two months!)

M-Married? I know that things happen with drinking too much but what really DID happen. What happens in Vegas, huh? Wow, the drama. V was pissed and Evan was joking and making his usual innuendos and not getting how much he was digging himself deeper. Well, shit, V sure told him in the end, didn't she? Hurt MY feeling For Evan. Wow! Who knew that Valerie could be so kind to all males when she's drunkk! LOL! Its kind of her fault as well that they're in that predicament but I dont think that Valerie should have yelled at him at the end of the chapter. Poor Evan. :( Thank you for this chapter Sue and cant wait for the next one to come out!
