I've been reading these fantastic stories for years now, and anxiously waited for the current story to come off of hiatus. I wondered why I kept reading them, and as I started to read the new material I realized why. These stories are so well written and each one holds a lesson everyone can learn from. Keep up the great stories!

hey good luck with the family visit! I think we can all appreciate how hectic things can be when the family comes to town! For instance I'm hosting my first thanksgiving at my house...gah!! talk about stress I'm only 21!! :) I sincerely hope that your dad enjoys his stay. It sounds like he could use some good times and a few prayers!

I'm with you, Kich...what IS going on wih Gin and Cain? Me no likey seeing Gin unhappy...then again, Cain's a really good guy so the mystery between the seperation's making me wonder--a LOT. Okay, just had to get that out. Now, Kich and Evan...love the bond of bros-in-law/uncle and nephew and I'm glad Kich was honest with the pup about muddying up youkai laws because even though I with Evan in a lot of ways as to his having first claim on V, the circumstances and SERIOUSLY skewed--one night stand with a stranger, the pre-existing engagement, the profession/personal issues still to be worked out between V and Evan (including his constant holding back of vital facts to his court case--still think it has something to do with Evan defending Diet, but I could be wrong...), etc., etc., etc.--Evan can be rather spontaneous, more willing to fly by the seat of his pants, or the ire of his anger, than to think first lots of times. I just hope he doesn't do something irreversible and his family--the ENTIRE Zelig/Izayoi/InuTaisho clan--jumps on his back for it...ESPECIALLY the three main dudes: InuYasha, Sesshy and Cain (can we say triple gulp?????). Hope you're having a great time with your family and we'll see you next week! Happy Thanksgiving, Sue!!!!!

Aww that ending was so sweeeet. ANother picture inspiring moment! I can just imagine them sitting in the sand, huddled together and looking up at the stars, bathed in the soft moonlight...man I wish I was good enough to do that >=\. Bah well xD. You know, I had always thought that it was so weird that Kichiro wasnt as protective of his daughters the way Inuyasha had been of Gin, or how all of them had been of Gin in fact... I was SO sure he would turn out just like Inu in that sense. That was just a thought Ive had for a long time, not really relevant to the chapter but bah xD. I hope you have a good time with your family and Ill look forward to your update next (next?) week!

And so the inevitable begins... Great chapters, Sue! Have fun with your family, though I'll greatly miss Evan next week! He and V brighten my days! The teasing is just so fun! I don't know how she can resist him, especially when he's back to his silver hair - I know I couldn't! :)

I was right that I would find out if V knew about the relationship between Belle and Kichiro. I like how Evan teased her about it and then showed some contrition for stringing her along about it. It was also good to see Kichiro playing big brother to Evan, he is one of the few that Evan respects enough to actually listen to. I can't wait to see how Evan reacts when it is shoved in his face that he was the cause for upsetting his mother by sending the other V to his parents. Did Gin think she was Evan's mate, because of her name? I guess I will have to wait to find out. Enjoy your time away we will see you when you come back.

If I was Val I would have called Evan's bluff and let him go off with Big John and implied that I was going to pick up some guy myself. But that is just me. It was sad to see how Val accepts her relationship with Marvin as an ok relationship, she needs Evan to treat her like a princess and to be possessive and to otherwise show he cares deeply for her. It was funny to see Belle and Kichiro at the end, I can't remember if anyone explained the relationship between the two to Val yet, I guess I will find out in the next chapter. You are good at keeping track of those pesky little details.

Haha. I was waiting for V's reaction to Belle and Kich. I liked this chapter, very...homey and down to earth. A bit of a change from the hustle and bustle of the tour. Well, it was amazing as usual. Hahaha.... when I read the lean-in song, I was amused beyond anything. That song was just on the radio as I was driving into work... and I was thinking you should use it in one of your chapters. I can't remember if you used it already, but I thought (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones would be another good one...
