Val is right only Evan could find that gift. I think it is funny that they chose cards so similar, must mean they are meant to be. Evan is going above and beyond to cheer Val up in this situation, it is nice that Val recognizes her dependence on him for this. I look forward to seeing the grand confrontation between Val and her parents. I hope for her sake it turns out well. What I really can't wait to see is the dumping of Marvin, I hope it comes soon. I know that Evan is hoping for it to come soon. Too tired to write more so I will see you later. |

Poor Val, this has to be so hard and Evan is being so sweet. I can't help but wonder how your going to wean Val off of Marvin. She clings to that man like a baby blanket, it'll be interesting to see how that comes to a head. Have a great week Miss Sueric! |

I totally love your stories, but thats not why i am reviewing. I just wanted to recommend a song to you that you may or may not have heard, but that regardless I think you'll love. It totally reminded me of this story only a little more extreme. well anyway the title is "concrete angel" by martina mcbride. |

The more you uncover the inner strength V has, the more I grow to love her. What she is doing would be making me sick with all the emotions I would be going thru!!! Each time I am dumbfounded by Even's next THING he thinks of to do, I remember he lives in YOUR head. What a wonderful place to live. LOL |

I have been a fan since your first fic & even read your originals. I remember when you used to post chapters daily & I would look forward to waking up & reading everyday before going to work. Now I look forward to Mondays & Fridays! Your stories are so well written & inspired that I can "see" the scenes. Your dialogue is real & flows beautifully. The spin-offs are based on our favorite couple but so involved & developed that someone who knows nothing about IY would still find the stories beautiful & entertaining. Out of all the Purity series this one is by far my favorite. You are the most talent writer I have ever come across. LOL, I wish you had time to do a one shot with just Valerie and Munchies (I love that dog) because I'm like Valerie how did he get into her building five time. I know I'm suppose to be review chapter 153 but I just had to say this about chapter 146. 153- I like this chapter because you feel more for Valerie, because she has a tough road ahead of her. Should she or shouldn't test to help her father? I can't wait to find out, update when you can Sue. |

Another great chapter. I am glad that some part of Evan realized that Val preferred him to Marvin in dealing with her father. He seems to be blessed with a wise youkai voice. He should listen to it more often and then maybe he wouldn't get into as much trouble. I am glad that Val realized that she might be asked to be tested as a possible donor. Of course if she does donate and then becomes Evan's mate she won't have to worry about losing that kidney. Would it grow back? Something to think about. Waiting for the next chapter eagerly. |

I'm glad this story is as long as it is because it really shows the growth of both characters. I love all the rough patches you make them go through in order for them to love and trust each other. Every chapter blows me away and I check for updates every day. If there are no updates, I re-read all of your fanfictions haha :) I love this story and you're such a talented writer. Jeez, I must have been out of it to not realize the possibility of them asking V if she was compatible or not. Then again, they might not even bother asking. Ooooh, this is exciting. I have been reading your fictions for years and years and I finally manned up and made a MediaMiner account so that I could tell you how much I appreciate you. Okay, I can't believe this but I actually went pseudo-hoarse from trying not to cry at this chapter; it hit home so much, I had to stop and start agaoin 4 times. I was a little shocked at how much it affected me. I was reaching to rub my eye--because I have a cold and I figured the sudden distrotion was a mini eye boogie forming--and, lo and behold, I'm crying. Well, shit...there goes MY tomboy status out the window! I had a feeling V was more torn than I imagined and it really showed in this jem of a chapter. I also gave Evan a gold star for friendship and support. I'm so glad he's not pushing her and I felt her inner struggle so deeply, about the confrontation, that I still get a pause in thought when I think on it. I remember making ammends with my mother but not my father--for vairious reasons--before he died. It really had me in deep contemplation, this chapter. It's Angst-nation time again, ne, Sue-sama? Make me proud, make me bawl like a baby, and make me go 'hmmmmm...'! As always, ya talented typist, you! **thumbs up** |
