Just to reassure you again, I like Valerie just fine, and I like Evan, although I like him more now that he seems to have taken his head out of his ass... but anyway, it seems like Valerie might go to see her father before he dies, since I can't imagine the story allowing her to just ignore it. Personally, I escaped my family when I was a kid and haven't talked to them since... and I don't think I would really feel anything if I heard they were dying, and I certainly wouldn't go to see them! After all, they are very mush fucked-up, and what I would want to hear? 'I'm sorry', 'I should never have treated you like that', they aren't capable of saying these things, or even admitting they did wrong. I really don't know if it would actually be at all helpful for Valerie to see her dad... eve if he somehow did grovel for all the wrong he did, it fixes nothing, just gives them power over her and what she feels and thinks once again. Although, going to yell at them might make her feel better... for five minutes. Guess I'll have to see how this plays out for her. Poor thing. okay now that I have actually read the chapters..time for review number 2!!! Okay so I have to say I love that V is realizing that munchies isn't so bad!! Everyone needs a dog in their life...and yes I mean the furry 4 legged kind ;) It is my personal belief that munchies will become her dog haha and even sleep in the same bed as her *gasp* I think that would be awesome! I love my big ugly mutt!! I also think that V's reaction to the news of her father is very fitting. The way she has been handling it has shown just how strong she is! Poor Evan, missing his V. I love the question about the "real V!" I can't wait until they reunite!! I get the feeling that things are about to be set on fire between them! hey sue, i know its been forever since I have reviewed. I've been reading you for such a long long time, from purity or torrent (which ever was the very first one you wrote) bout 7-10 years ago. This story is your new Bertha i see and I love every single word of it. Evan and V are amazing chars and I have not hated one word of anything you have wrote. Im not upset with V's reaction to her father. He was never a part of her life at all. Is she supposed to care yet? It upsets me that people are still being mean to you bout your writing. I remember during Meta you having the same problem, yet that story is one of my faves of yours. People need to back off of you and realize you always bring the story to the best ending. You are the only writer I still read after all these years and I will always read what you write because you are an amazing writer and your story always pull me in and hang me out to dry. I've laughed, I've cried, and gasped and been in awe of your writing skills. You have the skills and the love of writing that some of us wish we had. I hope you never stop writing. I waited for months for your updates and was so happy when one comes. You are the best writer i've read and I will always, always read your works. Please dont ever give up and dont let the jerks, drama queens, and morons stop you. You are amazing and you are the reason I want to write someday. Hi! It's been a long time since I've left a comment, but I've never stopped following the Purity series. I feel sorry for all the people that don't seem to get how emotionally moving your writing is. While I do think V's a little too stubborn for her own good, I can also see that she's hurting. I just hope she caves and gives Evan the chance he deserves soon, because despite his outward demeanor, he's like, the ultimate dream guy. Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to say is keep doing what you do, because it's amazing. I might not have time to comment every week, but know that I'm here, reading every chapter as you release them, cheering not only Val and Evan on towards their happy ending, but you as well. | Title: Great Read

I've never review anyone before now, even though I have read all of your purity stories (sometimes twice) and most of your other stories too. V is your most challenging chararcter you've tried so far and I am really proud to see her. Most authors have happy charaters with easy lives make easy "I love yous" which in the end makes me feel I have wasted my time. When V finally feels comfortable in her own skin, then she can truely see the friends around her. I think this story may end up being my favorite of all you works to date. | Title: Munchies and Evan

Yay yay yay! An extra update and V does love Munchies! I'm loving the thought of Munchies sleeping with V taking over for Evan as her heater hehe. Thank you for making me smile twice today :). okay so truth be told I haven't even read these latest 2 chapters. I scrolled down to read your author's note before proceeding and then found myself incredibly upset by it! I tried to read the first chapter but decided I needed to write you a "review" before I could sit down and enjoy these latest chapters. First off I just want to say this to you sueric: Do not let negative critiques and reviews about your characters and or chapters get to you like they have! You are a wonderful author! So wonderful in fact that you have created a character that, while we all know she will redeem herself, we all love to hate. We all know that Valerie and Evan will get married and have their happily ever after, but don't you see?! the beauty of your stories is in the emotion you inspire in us as we read it!! So what if we're not V's biggest fan right now? So what if V and Evan are taking things a little slow? so what if you lose a couple of readers because of it? we who have been here forever and who have stayed by your side through thick and thin trust that you have our precious Evan's back. Su please don't give up and get down just because you are having some bad review luck! am I a little peeved that Valerie is still with that little dick? yes yes I am. Does that mean that I don't believe in her character or in your writing for that matter? HELL to the no! I love your stories Su from the bottom of my heart. Write for YOU. Write because YOU love what you are writing. Write because you believe you have a story worth telling and to hell with all those who would condemn this story just because they aren't liking V at the moment...they can just quit reading. But do they? no because they love your stories too. I hope that this review makes you at least smile a little! and honestly maybe you should just take a break from reading the reviews for awhile. I just wanted to let you know that I've been reading your stories from the beginning, and I have to say that you are one of my favorite writers. Your stories have so much emotion that one can't help but love the story. Your stories are funny, romantic, dramatic, and incredibly addictive. This story is one of my favorites because there are so many levels that Evan and Valerie are having to work through to get to their "happily ever after". There's V's trust issues, her parents, Marvin, and the list goes on. Longer stories like this are the best because you can go into much better detail than you can in a 40-50 chapter story, and no one does this better than you. Please don't take the "criticism" of some people to heart, because a lot of readers just want them to get together and don't care about how they get there. Your true fans know that working through all the angst makes the "happily ever after" that much more satisfying in the end. I think I speak for many people when I say that I will continue to read this story all the way until the end, and I will read any story that you decide to write in the future as well. For our sakes, the true fans, please continue the great work because I for one can't wait to see how this story goes. | Title: Review of 145

I loved the way you portrayed V trying to focus on everything but the stuff that was important to her development as a person, though that is often the stuff that people ignore, like an elephant in a car trunk (hard to ignore). I think V is acting like any normal person in her situation would act, but I am interested to know (and have been when the topic comes up) where her 'fear' of dogs came from as it couldn't have come from thin air. I am still waiting to see what secrets Marvin has because it is obvious he has something going on behind the scenes, I thought in an earlier chapter he was sleeping with someone else to get funding or something and have yet to figure out his story. I think they are both using each other though. I can't wait for the next chapter to see how V deals with her folder as I have a feeling one chapter in the future will deal with the folder and its aftermath.
