Between the magazine ‘Fetish’—why didn’t I see it coming?—to Evan’s YV saying he hated him—ah, the panties—all pouty-like. **sniggers** And the “love story”? Got Dieter written all over it…not that I’d imagine him fornicating with a corpse—urm…I don’t THINK so, NEway—but the odd fetish-ness of it all—damn, I miss Diet’s oddball humor. Ironic I thought this before I got to the line were Evan told her Diet had a subscription [I wrote this review as I read the chapter]—I’m goooood! Tee hee! Okay, the truth mixed with regrets…how can apologies be so heart wrenching? Leave it to the Queen of Angst…dangit, you got my throat clogging up again, woman! LOL! Still, V got to me big time this chapter in how she really wants Evan to value himself. And it was awesome getting more into the source of Evan’s anger. Hey, Sue. Yeah, sorry I took so long to post those comments...MD got smacked with a few snowstorms back to back and I was stuck in my house for 5 or 6 days--lost count. That really stinks about your hubby and I hope he's floating on painkiller bliss, with no sad after affects. I'm so glad to be out of the house and thanks so much for all the new chapters! Point taken. iloveanimecartoons: THANK you! ~_~ Um, after a bit of…meditation…I’m back to review. ;) First of all, talk about ENDURANCE. Oh, if only I could CLONE the hanyou! NEwho…I love when Evan’s Youkai Voice is the voice of reason and this chapter brought it to life in brilliant Technicolor. Basically, man up, rockstar! But, with revelations come more fears and the cycle will end somewhere, but there are layers and layers more to burrow under first. Still good truths were said and I’m glad some are starting to get through to him…slowly though they may be. Seems the duo are bogged down with self-recriminations, ne? Ooh, that TEASER in the Forum, for the next chapter…the title alone made my stomach cramp a little. Wonderfully insightful, powerful, sinful, and introspective trio of chapters, Sue. Simply put, she’s human and doesn’t get ‘forever’ in the basic not to mention magical sense. She’s scared spitless, confused, trying to put up a good front, trying to be brave in the face of Evan’s wrath that probably has tinges of all her bad experiences with men rolled up together in some way or another, though it may not be fair to paste those labels on him, it’s all so easy when it’s all you’ve ever known to do. When you are your best defense, denial, repression…whatever. She’s also horny as hell in her own way, that draw between her and Evan deepening ever more from unconscious to damn near hard to fight off in the practical…hence the beginning of the last chapter. Yeah, to look at it quickly, she looks like a big kid having a fit and blaming it on others, all her frustrations. But, haven’t they both gone there, time to time? Arguments, heated discussions, don’t always have rhyme or reason as first goal—sometimes you just wanna, well, SCREAM verbally. Sometimes the inner child wants to be coddled and protected at the time the adult you needs to assert itself the most. The mind’s not always straightforward. Fear’s a paradox, ain’t it? Keeps you from going forward or backward—stuck. DAMN, I get V more and more all the time. Still, it’s good to see her getting into her own thoughts with more honesty. | Title:

Way to blow the cobwebs off, you two…one of many rip roaring “conversations” to come, I imagine; but as ugly and hurtful as it was, it was in many ways necessary. Got me good at the beginning of the chapter, Sue—thought it was another wet dream. I’m not of the mind to go “poor…ANYone” right now. Hell, let it out. ‘It’s Not Over’ comes to mind with this chapter. There’s a lot to deal with, still, so I’m just gonna keep reading and nodding my head sagely, laughing where appropriate—and, sometimes not, as I’m a silly damned thing at times, and sniffling here and there, fuming a bit in between. I’m as always, VERY emotionally involved but determined to keep an open mind. Onto the next chapter... Why do their arguments remind me so much of InuYasha and Kagome with a little Ryo, Nez, Morio and Meara thrown in for good measure? Well, I guess a free lobster (as in you didn't pay for it) deserves to be a free lobster (as in you let it swim away), whether it has babies or not. Ah, Madwin. That has to be my favorite Marvin nickname so far. I feel bad for Evan again, not looking forward to when he has to tell V about her dad. And you know, I completely forgot V has a job to go back to eventually (a job with Evan's Johnson on the wall, but still a job). Hope your hubby's okay, but from the way you described his injury, I just have to ask: is he a bull fighter by any chance???
