I have have admit, you've done a wonderful job building the characters of Evan and Valerie. This whole story has been amazing and look forward to the end of this story. I never really write reviews anymore, but I wanted to tell you that I have been following your writing for a very very long time now and out of all your Purity stories, Evan's is by far my most favorite. Its purely amazing and genius. I look forward to having a new chapter put up and this week you have put up so many new chapters its been a great, GREAT week. :) I just thought it was about time, I say how much i absolutely love your writing and your stories. I thought your other stories were great, but this one tops them all personally and I hope that there is much more to come. Please don't get discouraged by people who either are impatient or don't understand character development enough to realize what you are doing. I wish I could make my character development half has good as yours. Your characters seem so, REAL, and we watch them actually grow. Not a lot of writers can write with their characters with such complexity. I for one, cannot, and I am always striving to get to that point. I can also connect the most with V than any of your other female characters out of your Purity series. So, I am rambling on, sorry :). But, any who back to my point. I wish you would make these original stories, rather than the fanfiction, so I could actually buy them. If you have any original's I would buy them without a second guess, because no matter what kind of story it is you write, they are amazing :) Please, keep it up and don't ever stop writing. Writers like you, give me the courage to continue writing. | Reviewed By: Inu_inu_luvluv [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 10:42 PST Comment/Review: i can't believe people are being so mean; they should just drop it if they aren't happy about it - i don't understand what's not to like though; if they are expecting a clean simple story with stereotypical characters with no depth, i have no idea how they stumbled upon these stories anyway. I love how real your universe is, detailed and interesting. The characters actually evolve and are easy to empathize with. All of your characters are. I have no idea how you could have had so many this far, but dear God, am i loving it!^^ Purity series has the best stories i've ever read in and out of fanfic realm. i'm a big fan, and believe me, that's a big feat! Just keep writing, you have support! | Reviewed By: xfalsetruth06x [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 09:49 PST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: people are giving you crap? screw them. a story is a story and it's the anticipation that makes it worth it anyways. let x-mas come again before evan and valerie get together, I don't mind. I absolutely love the whole purity series and this story is no different. I think this story is wonderful and you are a superb author! i never read anyone elses review so I had no clue you were getting bashed!! I am just SOOO happy you are updating sooner! I have never read a story that mainly focused on oc's before. It is very hard these days to find an excellent story by an author of your caliber! PLEASE do not pay these people anymind and please continue to write this wonderful story. i hope you do not retire from writing fandom ANYTIME soon like so many other great authors have been doing nowadays (atleast for the inuyasha fandom) I am such a HUGE fan! :-D -Jazzy :) | Reviewed By: Anime Fan9568 [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 09:26 PST Comment/Review: this story is so awesome! I can understand that some people don't want to wait but they should also understand that if the author speeds up the story then it kinda makes them wonder what had happened before hand? I think your doing a fine just at the pace your going, just don't listen to them cause they just can't learn to wait then they just aren't worth you being upset though, I can understand that you would get hurt from the negativaty in their comments... anywho I hope you update soon but if not then take your time ^-^ | Title: You are awesome. In fact, I started re-reading the whole Purity line this weekend. It's just SO good. Don't let anyone tell you any different; they're just jealous. I love reading the character progression and the whole arc to the story. You are right, it would be too simple to put them together sooner rather than later. It's what makes the story intriguing. You are awesome. 'Nuff said. Case closed. | Reviewed By: puppypal27 [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 08:45 PST Comment/Review: I want you to know Sue (sincerely) that I love your story. The passion, the sincerity, the raw pain is incredible. There have been many chapters throughout the Purity series that made me sob. I came extremely close in the recent one "Just Friends". I do not say this so you will continue quicker. I've waited patiently on many fanfics (some of which haven't been updated in years). Your fanfic is an exception to the rule. I yearn for chapters from you, I don't just wait for them. Even my husband knows if a new chapter has come out from time to time when he sees me excitedly glued to the computer screen. I relate to Valerie too. I have had my heart shattered and held love away when I should have embraced it. You've written her beautifully. What woman doesn't have her hangups, doubts, or reservations? Evan is not weak either and I'm sure there are many readers out there that know that with their whole heart. He is in pain, and he fills it with what he can but I think that now it is not enough because he's seen a glimpse of what it could be with Valerie. Please don't let reviews and comments get you down. We suffered first with Inuyasha and Kagome, then with Cain almost losing Gin, and we went on and on feeling the pain and anguish and I keenly remember quietly crying when Evan and Kichiro were playing the piano, so moved that the tears were falling before I even realized because I like them had wanted nothing more than for Samantha to be returned to them. You did that you know. You made me feel with and for these characters to the point that they became a small part of my day. I know that whenever I want to read about them I can look up your stories and they'll be there. So I'll be patiently and quietly yearning and waiting until once more you've honored my day with another chapter of what is truly a masterpiece of fiction. I just feel really bad for Evan--him and Gunnar have always been kind of my favs. And my feelings for V stands, but his chapter did clear up a few things and make understand how Evan was seeing all this. Also, this has nothing to do with not trusting you, this is about one hell of a story arc that's so good, it gets people emotionally involved with characters who have no chance of ever being real. Really Sue, instead of getting upset, you should be taking a bow. Nice job once again. PS, for some reason whenever I think of Zel Roka I invison Hinder of Nickleback. Both favs of mine!! | Reviewed By: Lennex [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 08:37 PST Comment/Review: Fantastic as always. And i agree with you people need to let you write your story and leave it at that. For the record im really really enjoying this one. it has probably become my favorite, knocking purity 5 from the top spot. And i agree that both evan and V have changed immensly from the start of this story and i have faith they both will see the light. And yes if they just ended up with each other that wouldnt be much of a story would it. So keep up the great work, ill always be eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Your a fantastic writer and im sorry some people cant see that. Til next time :) | Reviewed By: Knittingknots [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 08:13 PST Comment/Review: Wow...sorry to hear what people have been saying about V...man...yeah, there are times I go crazy wanting them to break through their barriers, the tension gets so strong and I care a lot about them, but I trust you as a story teller. You know what you're doing, and I appreciate it. | Reviewed By: Simonkal of Inuy [MediaMiner Member] On: January 17, 2011 02:39 PST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Alright, Sue, don't hate me for this and please don't block me, but I had to say it--and yes--I still love your writing, characters, and stories. Hell, I've been following you since Metamorphisis. *Grin* Anyway, I'm all for the strong heroine and what not, but V is the most sickening woman in the Inu world. Not only that, but it's bad business in romance novels to have the heroine continue to sleep with someone other than the hero, and we all know it's implied that when Marko comes to town, he's hitting that. And poor Evan, the man is trying and her interference or rather lack of response after 133 chapters just makes him seem weak and sort of desperate that he's still pining after this woman who isn't bright enough to see a good thing when it's staring her in the face (cliche). I guess after reading all the other Purity stories and Evan's portrayal within them, I expected more from him than just compromise. For instance, when he took the catnip to Sydney because Bas was working to much and starting to ignore her, he did what needed to be done to keep his brother interested. He took charge and did the damn thing. I miss that Evan. Why can't he just tell 'V the tease' the truth about why he's trying to get laid so bad---she's getting screwed by Marlo and she damn sure isn't giving him any ass! And she made it quite clear that he was delusional to even expect such a thing. From the moment V peeped in that damn window at him, I knew we were going to have a love hate relationship. When is enough-enough? Anyway, I've been holding that in for the past ten chapter and just couldn't hold it in anymore. Once again, please don't block me and don't get mad and not post or anything. I still love you and your stories and I seriously wish I could have as much fun writing a story as you have writing this one. What is V up too does she wants to be with Evan or not and I think she is more than a friend and she knows it but won't give into it. I feel sorry for Evan, he wants her and it's more then lust, can't V see this. I use to like V character but now I don't know ...I mean she smart when it comes to her work but either she blind or stupit when it comes to Evan. Well. that is just me. I was totally apalled at Valerie for not just letting Evan alone. I did, think her reaction to going to the Bahamas, was very `Valerie'.
