Okay, that part stood out! I love V's unconcious possessive/jealous streak! It's so cute and kinda bent 'cause Ms. "I'm Engaged" makes plenty of snuggle time with her favorite living water bottle, huh? ROFL!! Random thought...NEwho, LOVE he Bone, as always got a kick out o him in this chapter. Too words: poor Bas. **sniggers** The offer for Christmas with the family was sweet, if not a little opportunistic on Evan's part--not that I foresaw him tryign to make an major moves on her while Gin was in residence but the potential intimacy and ingratiations into the family for V and, of course, the deepening of their bond (guy's gotta be feelign a little frazled mentally and emotionally right now). Go hang with your bent sweeie and drinka a little egg nog and sneak a slice of Cain's cake, V! It'll ALL make his day--and yours! LOL!

I love how much V cares about Diet and the repercussions of thecharges being dropped. And how much more in tuned she is to Evan's emotions. Evan, Evan, Evan...AC all over again. Kinda etreme way to ask her to stay by your side and you best be glad she understands the underlying plea in your little stunt. Wow...I laughed and shook my head in turns. That was beyond "bored"--Pfft--hahahahaha--don't do that no mo! **face hurts from trying not to laugh**

But this was a little wrenching to read with Evan's self-doubt and "the talk" with V and Maddy. Madison handled things a lot cooler than I expected though she did feelt he impact of the inevitable betrayal as it were...glad they're still on cool terms. Oh, Evan, the things you do to save your pride...let it go, man. Way to go, Pro, on the beta-ing! Great job! (flashdrive still on the fritz--typing this from whole cloth, Sue...sawwy). Again, thanks for the wicked bday greeting!!!! **wipes drool off chin**

I go away for vacation and come back to several chapters from one of my favorite authors, wonderful ending to the vacation. I, as always, loved the chapters. Poor Evan being kept from Val during the dance and then finding out about her father. I wonder if seeing her deal with her family will open his eyes to the love his father has and always had for him. He says about the photos that someone else is always holding him but did he ever stop to think who took the pictures? It should be interesting to see how Val handles the news about her father and if she reconciles with her family and meets her siblings. It will also be interesting if Marvin will be there for her or if this is what separates them and allows Evan to move in for the kill, so to speak. I look forward to seeing what comes next and have you in my prayers. I hope everything gets better soon.

That last chapter was just plain adorable!! I did not stop smiling. I just hope that those to tie their loose ends, so they can be together. They really have grown so far, and it makes me so happy. I'm sorry about all your current misfortunes. You will be in my prayers.

There so close tree practically a couple and yet there are so many things left unsaid and unrealised. And now I'm wondering why Cain was that way when he clearly loves Evan.

Oh gosh...You know I envy you (Don't worry though, it's a good envy) I'm amazed that you can push out something so...magnanimous even when your brain isn't working with you. I wish I had such talent and such a grasp on the emotive portion of creative writing. This chapter... I felt this emotion-Evan's emotion- more than any of the other emotions presented in all of your stories, Evan's feeling of being the odd one out and not being wanted... I couldn't help but sympathize for him and somewhat empathize with him. You ALWAYS make my day with your chapters and I feel like a bad supporter of yours because I can't donate anything to help you in your time of need when your writing seems to always help me. Well, I am uber glad to see Evan and V starting to understand each other, and I personally appreciate the time you took out to write this chapter for us. I know I say this a lot but if I didn't believe it I wouldn't say it at all: You are one of the best writers and I love your dedication to it. I wish I had talent like you. Ah, well, if Valerie's going to stick around, she has to get approval from all the people in the family, right? And the dance was just the perfect place to do it. I'm mixed about finding out that Valerie's biological dad is dying. But if Evan ever gets up the curage to say anything, I wouldn't be surprised if she said that she already knew, since she keeps tabs on her siblings somewhat. Keep up the good work, dark
