Oh my goodness!!! First of all I love the song you chose for the top of the chapter! I can't stop singing it now!! Second, wow!! And I really mean wow!! This chapter was amazing! At any point during this chapter you had me laughing out loud, smiling to myself and at other times breathlessly clutching my heart at Evan's gentleness!! I know I say this all the time but your gift for words astounds me!! I look forward to your next update.

aww... what an agonizing goodbye. I am not sure if after this she will be angry or scared or sad, or maybe just finally aware of the fact that he really does like her.... or will she play it off as him messing around again and convince herself that he is not serious? ah!!! It really is an agonizing cliff-hanger. :)

They're so close! Yet so far! I'm sure it is entirely frustrating to have knowledge of your to be mate sitting right in front you... and you can't have them completely like you would like to. I feel so sorry for Evan. He's such a sweet and funny guy. I seriously like think old Dorkwin needs to find himself a boring old nun as a wife.... *sigh* I can't wait until your next post!

It's kind of sad to see both of them enjoying the moment for a brief time only to take a step backward and regret the whole encounter. I just cant wait to see what its going to take for both of them to surrender to each other and accept the fact that they're meant to be together dammit! Bad Evan for tormenting Val that way. *snicker* *snort* *howls of laughter* Now I am extremely curious as to what he got her and she got him. Especially after her thoughts that he wouldn't like it. The separation is going to be hard on him I hope he does ok, though I do foresee a large phone bill until Marvin deserts her or stands her up, then he will be driving like crazy to get to her. Bas is going to have fun with that. As always I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Why am I not surprised the Rocky Horror Picture Show is still around and that Evan is a fan. He seems just perfect for it. I wonder if Val had seen it in college if she wouldn't have met Evan there then. It is good that Mathias is starting to walk and I am sure Miss will love hearing it but I wonder if she will love hearing it at that time of the night/morning. It might resurrect phone calls she received that Dieter was in trouble. I look forward to see what depravity you have up your sleeve next.

Its great to see that Evan and Valerie found a way to be at least somewhat together... even if its just as a client and lawyer for now. They were honestly miserable when the last case ended. That memory that Evan keeps thinking about, I doubt that Valerie even remembers saying that. Keep up the good work, dark
