Awwwwwe so cute. Why does everyone but Evan see how much his dad loves him? And the clambake! That is an awesome idea for Evan to have, he can cuddle V to keep her warm during the festivities. Though I am getting impatient for Evan to confront V and have her find out his secrets I love this story right now. Evan is being as romantic as he knows how to. And Val is responding as much as she can. I know Evan will heal her of her insecurities eventually and I suspect produce a reunion between Val and her parents at some point to help that healing. I hope you get the help you need I am praying for you. As always I look forward to the next chapter.

He really is something else. I loved the descriptions of cain and gin's pictures, there intimate snapshots of there life and love for their family :)

I LOVED THE SONG CHOICE. annnd the little bit of insight into the cain-evan fued. I liked being able to see how cain really feels about his rather hare-brained son. V...oh V. Let him call you baby...you know you like it. It's a hell of a lot better than "Val". But yes, Great Chapter... but what is Evan up to with this...clam bake? HAHA. Keep up the great work! A wonderful chapter and a great look into Val's insecurities about the durability of relationships. We all know that when Evan takes a mate he will be totally faithful for his entire life but Val has no way of knowing that because she doesn't know about Evan's heritage. I kind of suspect that Miss will have something to do with "outing" Evan or Bas's kids will. I am looking forward to seeing her reaction to the whole thing. At least she will be reassured that she won't have to be jealous again after they become mates. The conversation dealing with Gin trying to be sexy was so funny and Val not wanting Evan to buy her dress was great too since it really shows that she isn't interested in him for his money. I look forward to updates when you can.

It was good to see Evan and Gavin playing video games; that way Valerie could see how homey Evan really can be. I really wish she'd come to believe that his feelings really are true for her, but I understand why she doesn't. Hope everything looks up for you soon, I'm sorry I am only able to offer my prayers :(
