I loved the toy store section. As another adult that loves to play in toy stores or toy sections I can relate to the fun Evan is having with the toys. It was sad to hear that Val has never played in a toy store before but I do have to agree with her that Christmas Eve isn't the best time to do it. I am surprised that Evan was able to find room to maneuver the bouncy ball or scooter or everything else he rode. Usually the aisles are packed so you can barely walk or wheel something through, to have room to ride requires skill and luck (which apparently Evan has in spades). I also thought it was interesting that Evan sees Caine making his own wrapping paper as being cheap and not thoughtful, as most people view it. I bet Val loves the paper. If Evan thinks Bas is bad in buying clothes for his daughter I would hate to see Evan's picks for his own daughter when he has one. It was sweet that Evan took Val to his special place though I think it will come up again. How much longer is the suspense going to last, get them together soon please. It is killing me waiting to see how they finally admit that they care for each other and she breaks it off with Marvin, Melvin, martin, Mooney whatever. Now Evan has me doing it lol. I look forward to the Christmas special and the conclusion of this fic and the start of the next in the series. *whispers* How is that for pressure?

Hey Sue! Is everything with you and your family alright? We haven't heard from you in a while. I have absolutely no problem in waiting for a chapter because it gives me time to go back and reread, refamiliarize myself with everything that has happened in the story; However, even if you don't write a chapter we at least get an author's note of some kind explaining what's happening. I remember you saying a while back that internet is now considered a luxury and so you might not post as much. Well, we all do miss you and we wish you and your family well. I haven't read anything chapters for a few weeks, right? And out of the blue I had a dream with Evan, Inuyasha, and Jillian (of all people). I suppose Kagome was in there somewhere. Anyway, I was at the doughnut shop with my friends (where I NEVER go, btw) and I was craving some crispy creme doughnuts, and lecturing my friends on whether plain glazed was better than cream filled. Then Evan walks in followed by jillian, heard us talking, and then all the sudden is going to buy like 10 boxes of cream filled doughnuts. Jillian says that she wants some and that its not fair since they have to ride in separate cars..(I guess Evan was riding with V, so Jillian was stuck with Inu and Kagome). Evan says something like, "The only way you're getting some is if Inuyasha approves. You realy think the old man will want doughnuts?" And then Inuyasha comes stomping in determined to prove that theres no reason he shouldn't try cream filled doughnuts. And then kagome starts saying teasingly "I don't know. I'm not sure if its something you would like.." And then Inuyasha is determined to prove he can and will eat anything. XD And so, he gets as many boxes as Evan does, and Jillian is happy. And I'm just standing there watching this... I cut out the wierd parts like the fact that they were standing in a decorative fountain in the middle of the store, and that there were beluga whales and penquins in it... and that I was upset because I wasn't sure that Evan had shared the drumstick he was eating with the beluga that was begging for it. And my friends assured me that the whale had probably picked up some scraps. lol. Wierd dream, had to share it. Feel free to use bits and pieces lol. The bantering seems just like something they would do.. ~Chaos~
