My my my my isn't vegeta full of surprises. I hate the fact that Zarbon is playing sides, and using his info over vegeta's head. I only hope that when Frieza and Cooler finds out he gets his. I fear for Bulma now, but yet somehow i have hope for them both. Thank you for updating. I know your very busy with work and your family. it was a great chapter. PS. THANK YOU BARB!!!!!!

As always, every single word of this fic is excellent. I do believe it will be my favorite story forever. I love the complexities that you have written into Vegeta, in his eyes and in his posture. I have a bad feeling that the two cannot enjoy a party and slip off unoticed...can't wait for the next chapter, but every chapter has been worth the wait. Great Job, Tempest. Thank you.

I liked your fic, it's the first time i read an incomplete fic.Bulma and Vegeta are so IC in the story, it's really nice.And the insincts torture*shiver*, that was a nice touch especially the following Lemon.

WHEW Finally done with the chapter and I cannot wait to read some more of it. SO GOOD! I am shell-shocked because its been so effing long since I read such a kick-ass Bulma/Vegeta story and me? PFFT Hardcore fan! But I hadn't really been addicted to the pairing as much as I use to. BUT your story has made me obsessed...again...:D I

That was really hot! The thing I love about your stories is that the characters stay true and that Vegeta isn't a stupid lovey dovey man, who at the minute he sees Bulma instantly falls in love...I run from stories like that! Fortunately I found yours! Oh bless that sacred day!

Most excellent! This slow, but inevitable, process of Vegeta and Bulma knowing, trusting, and giving themselves over to each other is very well done! It is interesting to see how their perceptions of one another have changed during the course of the story. I look forward to the next chapter!

Hurray,a new chapter! I am relieved that Bulma hasn't been raped as in much fanfics. I adore their relationship, how she finally understand why he is a killer and I adore the secret desire of Vegeta of having someone who understand and love him in spite of his life; she isn't the same Bulma since the beginning of the story, she is a real survivor now.

I'm so glad that he saved her! I'm afraid of what will happen to him when those guards are found dead, though. This story is so fantasitc, every word is well worth the wait. Excellent job. I only wish it were longer!

Oh, how I love this story. Now that their together, I can't wait to really get into the politics of Namek and Cold and all that stuff. Vegeta's so masculine, Bulma's so feminine I just adore it all! Thanks

yeeesss!! an update! It's quite funny though because two days ago I just finished re-reading this fic and I wanted so much to read more of it! And oh oh! surprise! There's another chapter! Yipee! And now, I'm going to read Against all odds for the fifth time I think lol I hope you will update more often... though I understand that you have other things to do than write lol You have incredible talent, which is why you should not stop writing. :)

Very, very excited to see this updated. Like Maccam, I'm also surprised by the fact that they didn't seem to do as much to her as expected. This was coupled by major relief as I wasn't sure if I were mentally ready to read another Bulma-is-raped fic right now. You are incredibly adept at characterization. None of the cliche rush to make Vegeta fall in love and vague references to Bulma understanding him better than anyone. Here, you actually provide reasonings: Vegeta is slowly being humanized through his experience with Bulma (as well as the rest of the universe--love that one where he witnesses a beggar woman being wronged while Bulma fights off the arachnoid in the background) and Bulma also grows from witnessing and experience some of the things Vegeta has gone through. This method has so much more substance than, say, having Vegeta give frame-by-frame commentary on his oh-so-horrible life. This way, he does not have to say anything to make her understand. But you already know this, so why am I telling you...Bah. Just wanted to show my appreciation. Also, you seem to have grown much as a writer. I notice your penchant for slave-style fics or male domination. This one is more subtle than your older ones though, which I also appreciate. Wish other authors would take note. Keep up the good work. Eagerly awaiting updates.
