This story is getting better with each chapter. I'd been enjoying a lot, especially now that the pieces are starting to fit. Naraku is such an evil bastard, just as he should be, always messing with other people's life. Before this chapter, I didn't really understand why Kanna was behaving like that (even when she is supposed to be odd), but now I can see that Naraku is a real brainwash expert. I wonder why he didn't brainwash Kagura, maybe is the same as in the original story, that for some reason he wanted her to be able of taking her own decisions? About the Shikon no Tama, well… I didn't see that coming, but now it makes sense. Ah, and it seems that this crisis is helping Sango and Miroku to get closer… nice! Good job, I can't wait for the next chapter!

This hospital has some real problems with administration. I almost laughed when the nurse said that they released Kohaku to his uncle Naraku. The doctor who released him just happened to take over after the murder of Kohaku's doctor. Where is Big Nurse when you need her? The pieces are beginning to fall into place. The Shikon No Tama is connected both to Sango's family and Kagome's family. They really do need Sesshoumaru to protect them.

Everything is unfolding and is very unsettling due to its implications. Naraku evilness is impressive, you made him as evil as the original one but in Modern times, sthg. more difficult to believe cause when you think of modern times you don't think about magical creatures. The issue that you could accomplish that without too much exposure of the character but showing a bit of his maquiavelic plotting is amazing. Love the tiny developing between Sango and Miroku, she is starting to rely on him -and her friends- although she is just realizing it. Poor Grandpa, his sillyness put all his family in danger when he should keep a secret well locked down. Not the brightest crayon in the box. Thank you for the updated, really a great way to start a heavy working week!! Thank you again for sharing with us!! :)

Great chapter. I'm glad that they were able to help Kagura....and that Sango now finally has the name of the one who destroyed her family. And they are going to have their hands full with him. I can't wait to see what happens next.

WOA!!! Good, good, good!!! Excellent chapter!!! Love this Kagura, she is so true to our fav. character! Mmmm, so many secrets, so many revelations, so many things to happen... Love the interaction between the characters, the way you work and develop them. You take the needed time to make Sango get closer to Miroku, and little by little she is lowering her built up walls. The friendship's and family bonds you create in this story are amazing, because they come up naturally, not forced, not planned. It's their true nature speaking, the good in them, it seems that sooner or later, when they get to trust Kagura, she will be part of the circle. Now that she is free, she'll have a stronger reason to fight Naraku although she will still be afraid for her sister. HEHEHE... Naraku will be really pissed when finding out about Kagura's "little surgery", of course there should be a way that he is able to find out... or maybe not, so she would be able to sneak into the enemy's lines. This is getting soooooooo good, can't wait to next chapter!!! Excellent one Cathy!!! Excellent Easter present too!! Thanks for updating although it's Sunday and you must be really tired!! Thank you :bows deeply: Have a Happy Easter!!!

I like how Kagura has been introduced to the gang. This is a much better way than her attacking them on Naraku's orders. She is the sympathetic character she evolved into in the end instead of the cold-hearted character she was in the beginning. I feel sorry for Kagura that it was Kanna that hurt her sister. Kanna needs her head examined. Now Sango knows who hurt her family and it was good to see how protective Miroku was of Sango. Like Inuyasha and Kagome he gets stronger protecting the one he loves. Though it was a shocking way for Sango to learn Kohaku is out of the hospital she did need to know this, if for no other reason then to protect herself. I also liked how the question Sango had about the name for her father was chosen. It showed that she had put a great deal of thought and concern for her father into her choice. It demonstrated to Miroku her softer side which does not come out too often or to too many people. I am looking forward to see how this story develops now that Naraku has been introduced to all the main characters now.

Oh my, my, my. That made me quite ill, no, terrified. I could only see those who do not wish to do the act and will not heal so quickly. But I loved how Sango kept slipping and instead of saying 'Sensi Miroku', she would say, 'Mi' and catch herself. Sweet.

I like the softness in Miroku and Sango's growing relationship here. There is something to be said for building it slowly, giving them that chance to learn things about each other, even the small things some might consider insignificant. It was very good to see him apologize for his behavior, something I don't think he's really done with many women in the past. Again, he's making such an effort to change and put an end to womanizing behavior, which is essential if he actually intends on pursuing Sango legitimately. I think the women he's pursued in the past were not challenging---in fact they seemed to be quite easy and willing, but Sango presents that new challenge. She can fight and she's not looking for an easy lay. He seems to understand that he must be careful and this has made him conscious of his past transgressions against women. I think the more he interacts with her, the more disgusted he is becoming with who he was before meeting her. I love how they've shared a bit of their pasts as well, because it gives them something to build upon, a solid foundation if you will. Sango's sympathy, despite all the tragedy in her own life, for Miroku is also moving. It's subtle and touching and really doesn't need the over-dramatic touch some may like to force into the situation. Now if they could just get past that awkwardness! I like how Sesshomaru thinks of Inuyasha looking much like their father. It seems to be appropriate. And, tying Inuyasha's mother and Kagome's power over both is good. I like the comment about no male being able to put up with Sesshomaru's mother, though. I think it's fairly clear that she doesn't take crap from anyone and most certainly not males. I think it's interesting that Sesshomaru says that the pleasure of meeting Kagome is his. He's grown as much if not a bit more than Inuyasha has in the centuries. He's just as formal as always, but there's this underlying warmth to him somehow. I love how Rin is brought in, again there when he's hurt and doing what she can to save him. It must have touched him more than he's letting on in even this explanation. And to have her learn at Inuyasha's school is even better. The two brothers certainly have a connection and they seem to both regret not taking time to cultivate it more. And of course, Sesshomaru still can stick his foot in his mouth, announcing the engagement before the lady in question is even aware. Somehow, I don't think that bothers Kagome, though. Poor Sango feeling inadequate because she's not all that slutty, which I think is boring Miroku anyways. She should know better, considering all the time he's spending with her! I think it's good of them to invite her to the engagement party just for the four of them. They're certainly becoming close friends and although she feels a bit awkward still, she seems to want it more and more. I think if she would stop over analyzing the whole situation she would be a lot more comfortable with them. She just has to get the confidence to relax and just be. Given what Inuyasha is, and her knowledge of that, she should know that she's safe. There seems to be times when Sango is about to start to truly trust them and then she always pulls back. I suppose with her past it makes sense, but she has to start some where! I do think it's cute how she can talk to Kirara. Their understanding of one another is very endearing and a good touch to the story. So much of the time, it seems that she's overlooked as an actual character in stories that it's nice to see her fleshed out---as much as a non-speaking character can be, I guess. Miroku should work harder sometimes on behaving, however. He nearly scared her with that "it's a date" line, I think. And just what naughty things was he whispering to Inuyasha anyways? He shouldn't really give pointers to him if he knows what's good for him. He should certainly know that Inuyasha is very private about such things and really wouldn't want Miroku's nose in it.

Now we began to see what is actually going on with Sango. Sango searches for the meaning behind her dreams about her family tragedy with Kaede while Kagura searches for the one person who can prevent Naraku from completely his evil scheme. I would never have thought of making Kanna a sex toy. She was like an oracle in the manga.

GAH!!! What is wrong with that little [well 100 SHOULD be young]demon girl?? I wonder if she did all of that just to show to Kagura that he liked her better? Dear me, that girl is on something.

Good chapter. But the end sent chills down my spine. That was truly sick! But then again, what else can we expect of Naraku? I'll be looking for the next chapter.
