i loved the teaser about inuyasha's love life in kagome's absence. i would worry more about a guy who would willingly go 500 years without anything. from his reaction when he left the council they must have asked some pretty personal questions. i hope you let us know what they were. it seems as if kagome is wondering if inuyasha has moved beyond her. when she told him that she loved him, and he didn't respond, coupled with her thoughts that he's too old for her now, really brought out the obstacles she's putting in her mind for them to overcome. is what she sensed at the end the 'when you least expect it...' moment? i think having all the world's major youkai players at one place, and occupied with judging kagome would be the perfect opportunity for a strike. great chapter, as usual. thank you for posting it.

Alright, update! *puts away lazy reviewer flag* :P I just caught that as am reading along -Inu fooled rounded? That couldn't have been the reason he hadn't said anything back to Kags when she told him she loved him, is it. I dunno, think Id be lookin his way with a few questions on my own for that alone. And what was it she felt at the end there that has us be handin by our finger tips, I wonder? Great chap, BTW, but think my pinkies are already starting to get numb from hangin on, hehe. Still, update when ya can! ;)

(just deleted the lyrics to 'trouble' from 'music man'. figured it would be too much read, sorry) ♣ one would think that she would be approved if all she needed was a majority vote. then again they could make her wait a few years. ♦ one feels sorry for both yasha and kagome. he must feel extremely guilty for accusing her of sealing the well and finding out that he was the one who destroyed it. then for not believing in her and then feeling he was unfaithful on top of it all. she is still a large part of his ego (self esteem) and right now she isn't sure of anything so all of the above would have a great effect on him. ♠ great chapter, can't wait for more! ♥ always a joy ♥ ginny

Simply smashing! Ara is a hoot! All angsty and vibrant. Loved the little fluff and suprised at how well Kagome took the fact that Inu's been 'around' a time or too. Can't say I'd handle someone telling me that they had heard my man was 'heaven in bed'. You're evil with leaving it at the council break... so want to know what their decision was and perhaps what the questioned Inu about. Silly Inuyasha could have given Kagome a better response to her admission but I guess you can't expect much for that inarticulate boy. Great Chappy!

Oh man!!!! I'm really slackin'. LOL! Finally getting around to reading and reviewing. Interesting chapter. Wicked new character. Can't wait to find out more about this 'sister' of Inu's. Seems like she's the type to kick some ass and get names later! With our fiesty hanyou back in the picture things are likely to heat up and get very interesting. I see there is another chapter so I am off to indulge in your wonderful fantasy some more.... Sexy dreams of youkai in wranglers and cowboy boots keep invading my dreams!

I've been reading your story for a while now, and I keep thinking to myself: Why didn't Kagome, when she first learned that she was never going to go back to the feudal era on Saturday, just go back through the well, the moment she was told (I believe this was on a Tuesday). She had 4 days to go back through the well and stay there so that Inuyasha would never think that she'd abandon him. Yet she still waited till Friday/Saturday for Inuyasha to break the damn well. GAHHH!!! She could have jumped into the well the moment she knew she couldn't go back on Saturday! AHH! Why didn't she?! It would have prevented this whole mess! Anyway, interesting story. I just finished the "Fire" Chapter, and it's getting quite complicated.

Okay love this chapter! I do feel sorry for Ki, being used by Naraku as she is and the fact that she seems to be one of those individuals that will have a sense of longing. I like how Aratakoumyou is portrayed here in the story. I also am curious to what Miroku and Sango now and if they're currently thinking about Kagome and what Inuyasha is doing now.

Another great chapter like always. For the record I do not think Kagome is ooc. Normly she would have people to vent to like Sang, her mom, Kaded, her 3 friends on even inuyasha. Now her life has even more upside down and she did not have anyone for 3 weeks. While I can not wait till the next part I understand that life gets in the way of the good things. LOL

i loved reading kagome unloading a little of her baggage. it's about time! the girl sometimes seems too good. even in the manga--which was more restrained than the anime--quite a few of those 'sits' were from frustration. i did like the irony of kagome talking about inuyasha never accepting responsibility for his actions, like when she broke the jewel. now i have a mental checklist of all possibilities for who ki really is, or was. i can't wait to find out.
