so, ki is one of the line of midoriko's descendents? and naraku killed her mother and forced her to merge with demons? i love this story; you always stay one step ahead of me. i can't wait to see how you work everything out, but i have to say that i will really miss this story when it's over.

Very nice like always. It was a nice touch how Inu relized he had to break the cycle of there fights like that. Good job I am very scare about it only being 2 more chapters as I like the story alot and do not want to see it go bye bye.

Awww.... i get it now XD Ki makes perfect sense ^_____^ and i doubt that Inuyasha is going to let Ki near Kagome lol anwyays basically 2 more chapters?! T_T

Well now the confusion over who Ki is has ended and I have to say I didn't see Midoriko reincarnated, sort of, maybe I was just blind. It was a good twist and you did leave hints I just didn't pick them up. I really liked seeing Inuyasha grown enough to end the cycle of misinterpretation and fighting that he and Kagome get into. It shows the growth of his character and Kagome's instant reaction shows some growth on her part while staying true to character. Inuyasha's reactions after his submission are very true to his character. It was good to see Ki's realization that she has been used, as have all of Naraku's incarnations, and her response to it. Of course Kagome will do what she can for Ki and Inuyasha will let her since to do otherwise will betray her loving heart. It will be interesting to see Naraku's reaction to Kagome purifying the jewel with him inside it. I can't wait to see how that turns out.

Well...ki just brought naraku AND the jewel to them. And naraku needs kagome...uh-oh somehow I feel like naraku probably new ki was going to go to kagome for help. At least we know more about ki's origin. Lol! I'm glad they didn't completly blow up over how kagome got kidnapped. It's nice to see Inuyasha back off so kagome could explain what happened for once.

such twists and turns!! ♣ something of ki's origin, a wonderful explanation without really explaining. ♦ something tells me that it won't be as easy as 'all that' to get rid of naraku. such an interesting and exciting turn of events. ♥

Sorry for the late review! I read the chapter previously but didn't have time to leave a comment.. College is kicking my ass. O.o anyway, on to reviewing! This thing with Ki... Its making me feel bad for her. I like really really really wanna know her story now! But I'm glad to know a little more and be able to understand her better. I see her becoming a potential ally in the end? And yay! As always inu to the rescue! And I can't wait to see how he reacts when he finds out the shards are missing. XDDD Dun dun dun! And Inuyasha certainly won't be happy to learn how Kagome was kidnapped. "You're too trusting, wench!" It all just makes me laugh. And how well everyone is portrayed. Its just so believable. I LOVE IT! Anyways, keep up the good work and update soon!

Wow took a while for this chapter, and it looks likes that the plot bunnies were a little hard to control :). Just kidding, this chapter was definetly worth the wait that we had to endure :D... Um i think i might have already said it....idk, so i will say it again. This is a great fanfic, this is probably exactly how things would have happened if they did, but i almost think that Inuyasha gave up a little bit too quickly on thinking that it was Kagome's fault, but then again, Inuyasha is stubborn and can be a little problematic with his anger, and what was so funny was that when she sat him, when he had not have that happen to him for 500 years, oooooooo that was good. And this one character Ki. I believe that this is might not be kikyou, because in this chapter Ki saw Inuyasha's red eyes, i dont think that Kikyou ever saw Inuyasha in his true form like that. Uh..... lets see here.......... oh and i beleieve that Ki has something to do with kagome's family, maybe she was some long lost cousin, that died of natural causes, and naraku found out a way to give her youkai powers.......hmmmm this is a conundrum indeed, great writing and I cant wait for the next release, and oooooooo i CANT WAIT

The thing about kagome is she's very trusting and when someone asks for help and even though they are the enemy she would STILL help them. So when they do find out how she got kidnaped I hope that inuyasha, sango and miroku keeps this in mind. About Ki....it sounds like naraku killed her mother and took her.Then He erased her memories and brainwashed her. I still think she's kikyo. Lol! I might be wrong though!

Nice rescue. I have to say all the glimpses that you have given us of Ki does seem to point to Kikyo but it can't be her can it? I mean Kagome is the modern version of Kikyo and if he took an earlier version then wouldn't Kagome not have been born or the jewel would have been with the earlier version? I am getting so confused. I am now trying to run every female character through my head trying to decide who Ki is. I feel sorry for Ki though because she is now getting a taste of what all of Naraku's former henchmen went through before he disposed of them. I like how the ring works and it going to be lots of fun watching Inuyasha and Kagome practice its powers. (snicker, snort, giggle) I can't wait to see what happens next especially when Inuyasha learns how Kagome was caught. He is going to go ballistic on her for putting herself in that position and Sango and Miroku are going to be right behind him in yelling at her. Poor Kagome, though for this stunt she deserves a good yelling at.
