i usually skim over the battle/fight scenes unless i'm editing so i thought your skirmish was just fine. . . that was pure irony, he was so pissed that she didn't show up and it's his won damn fault. lol. he should be on his knees kissing her feet about now. a$$. . . one hopes the family's okay... maybe she should be purifying her brother and mum, i think her reiki purifies naraku's miasma. then again this is your wonderful story and i will shut my big mouth now (well you know what i mean). ~ thank you, ginny

Nice chapter. We now know/suspect that the well is somehow damaged in the upcoming fight. Part of me thinks that Inuyasha is the one who destroys/damages the well. If he is, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Hitomaru are all going to jump all over him for thinking Kagome sealed the well after deciding not to return to him. I am laughing at Hitomaru's hitting on Kagome even though she and Inuyasha are fated to be together. Hitomaru is acting so much like his father. I am still awaiting the appearance of Sesshomaru and his mate, if it isn't Misery. The next chapter should be very good since we finally see what happens with the well.

hito's mannerisms are somehow reminiscent of a certain monk's... i don't know about kagome but that's sango's and miroku's son... if it were me the scene in 'back to the future' comes to mind when teen aged lorraine kissed marty *shivers (not in a good way)* eww! i just got kissed by my best friend's son

another fabulous chapter deary!! I am really beginning to love the new generation of characters in this story, they have inherited some of the best qualities of the original cast!!! You have me hanging on the edge to see just what happens to the well, and if Kagome's family is in serious trouble now that the enemy knows who they are and what the shrine signifies to the group! I can't help but wonder what will be Hitomu's fate when Inuyasha finds out exactly what happened to the well and that Kagome didn't really abandon him....will the pair kiss and make up, or will Hito actually make a play for Kagome? Poor Kagome, forever entangled in these pesky little "love triangles"! Please update soon!

now that i'm all caught up, i just wanted to tell you that i love your story. it was recommended by catbaker, and i thank her for helping me find such entertaining reading! i love the twists that you have incorporated in this story. you really have me guessing. i love the tempo and flow of your writing. the chapter length is perfect for the speed of the story. i love your characterizations. i wish there was more of the history the original characters went through, but i will wait to see if it comes out in future chapters. i do love the new generation, but i'm rather attached to the originals. thank you for such an entertaining story. i look forward to future chapters.

Plot bunnies be damned to the fifth hell, don't do that! I think you're getting your jollies leaving us hanging. *snort* Build up to a kick ass battle......then it's tune in next time...ARGGGG!!! *giggling* Hito is really playing with fire if he thinks he can get one up on his 'uncle'. Inu better hope that Kagome will even accept him as his 'Mate' after the way he's been treating her. I know I'd probably have trottled him by know. Wonder how much crow-youkai Inu's going to eat when the real reason the well closed comes out. I know it wasn't done by Kagome to piss him off (at least I don't think deliberately or at all). You better show him doing some major ass kissing. Something I'm sure we would all love to see. *wickedly smirking*

Oh awesome chapter! I really like the dialogue that's going on and have a feeling the well is about to be destroyed. Because then it would no longer work I believe. You have totally got me excited about future chapters.

Wow, I return to find 2 updates!!!! Loved the last chapter. Unfortunate that some of Miroku's lechorous traits have been passed on but I'm sure it will provide much entertainment for your readers! Poor Kagome, I'm sure I would have blown a gasket at Inuyasha by now. He can sure be a growly guy!!!! I wouldn't doubt she stays in modern Japan just because of the ass he is being! Loved the 'witnessed' kiss! Should bring about even more tension. Misery could use to kick some ass! Take the inu down a notch! Loved your take on her! So strange seeing a character of your own in someone elses work! Stange but exciting. Waiting to see what a certain teenage boy has in store for Kagome. Poor boy doesn't understand the mess he is getting himself into. Still curious about your mistery 'evil'. Great expansion on the story and I will be waiting for more!!!!
