Oh no! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what caused Kagome to decide to seal the well or even if it was her doing. Perhaps it is permanent seeing how Hitomi didn't almost call Kagome "Aunt" like he almost called InuYasha "Uncle". That would be not so fun for InuYasha to have to wait for her like that. Maybe it's a good thing that he didn't talk to her about the mating thing before the well sealed because he would be more likely to take it as a rejection of that... it would sting worse... Not that he wouldn't feel somewhat rejected at some point int time, but hopefully he can see that there could be many reasons that the well is sealed. Also, there is no such thing as a autumn solstice. I believe you are going for the Autumnal Equinox. There are Winter and Summer solstices and Vernal(spring) and Autumnal(fall) equinoxes. Each of these events occur around the 19th-23rd of March(vernal equinox: equal day and night), June(summer solstice: longest day), September(autumnal equinox: equal day and night), and December(winter solstice: longest night). Just a little more info that you really needed... I also know a lot about moon cycles, so if you happen to want help with that just ask me and I'll be happy to. I'll never point out any moon cycle mistakes people make because just about everyone makes them in fan fiction. I have really enjoyed reading your story so far. I hope you continue to update frequently and I thank you for doing so so far and sharing your work in the first place :)

i wouldn't have seen a problem with him coming to visit her in the evenings for a few hours every couple days, they are doing the sengoku jidai equivalent of dating after all. . . one hopes she doesn't stay gone and the well doesn't stay sealed as it will be a heck of a long 500 year wait. . . one feels yasha's frustration, anger and despair and hopes this new development is only temporary. ~ thank you, ginny

I wouldn't give a perfect score lightly; you're the best! Your story is so well written, and the plot is enticing, but what I love best is the introduction of instinct into the plot! I love "pack" and "pack laws," and anything else that has to do with InuYasha's inu side! I think that's the sweetest part. You're truely a girl after my own heart! Please, continue with our gratitude!

Now it is sounding almost as if Kagome doesn't survive until the modern era with the mysterious stranger saying he thought he was done with her years ago. But I am more inclined towards Hitomi being Miroku and Sango's son. That would explain the scent and the likeness. So we have another bad guy that wants Kagome. He is probably surprised that she doesn't have a taint from being part youkai or whatever Inuyasha and Sesshomaru will have to do to extend her life. Or the taint of being mated to a demon. I am looking forward to what comes next.
